Cambois is going to be a eco friendly village if it gets the go-ahead.
I think its a good way forward personally, but collectively we all need to try and agree to it.
the new power station is said to be clean coal. Im sure that when you see the government wanting more nuclear, we at cambois should think the clean coal is better than having a nuclear power station.
The power station will generate much more needed cash for Wansbeck.
Then jobs. Its important.

Cambois suffers with a huge lack in many facilities too.
We are issolated, no proper buses from the main bus company. We do have a bit bus service but sadly it ends about 6 ish in the evening and one bus has to travel all over.

It hard for people who work out the area. If they didnt have transport how would they get to work?

then this area has a lot of old folk. You cant blame young people for nor wanting to live here. Young folk is the future. You know we cant even buy a newspaper in cambois. Or even a pint of milk. or food. What do people think of that?

Anyway lets hope wansbeck lives up to it promise and regenerates cambois. It needs help.

Yes. The shopkeeper sold up. He tried and failed. Down to the support in the community. Well i should say lack of support in the community. I supported him though. i always been like that. i travel to scotland gate at choppington and choppington news for my paper. I call at clayton news and the other two shops that stock the groups products. thats support, every little helps.
Back to Cambois i was very disapointed when Tom closed. But he had enough. i cant blame him for closing. no good flogging a dead horse. hes moved now. i believe to newbiggin?
I wish him all the best if he ventures into business again as hes a really good fella and hes got a good family.
I dont blame him for moving either, i know he believed the community had let him down.
